I’ve just completed my last run of the week, a freezing, windy nine mile run in the snow. And I did it with no injury and the first part of it was, unbelievably, my fastest ever 10k. All in all, it’s been a good week. By that, I mean that I completed three of my four scheduled runs – heavy snow and heavier work load killed my scheduled second run on Thursday so I ran on Friday and added an extra mile. I could have run again on Saturday, but it was Mrs K’s birthday and I spent all day pampering her and trying to make her forget about her snow-cancelled shopping trip to Cambridge. Hopefully, even with the next wave of snow about to hit us any moment now, I’ll be able to keep to four runs next week, the fourth being the Freethorpe Ten on Sunday. I’m hoping for a decent time and no injuries. As ever, I’ll keep you posted.
